The Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program is designed for individuals who seek to obtain an advanced accounting degree, the standard for professional accountants—which fulfills the 150 credit hours of college education required for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exams.
To keep pace with today’s data age, finance & accounting students must receive an education that emphasizes on data & analytics. The Master of Accountancy with the Analytics track program offers specialization in data analytics paired with broad graduate-level accounting education. In this program, students are prepared for careers in the data age as they gain hands-on experience in data analytics and cutting-edge technologies. The program requires Principle I (Financial Accounting), Principle II (Managerial Accounting), Intermediate Financial Reporting I & II, Auditing, US Taxation, US Business Law & Excel Application & Modelling, graduate level US Business Law course as an Elective.
The MAcc offers options to prepare graduates for diverse paths in public or corporate accounting, taxation, financial analysis, management and consulting. In addition to building their mastery in the field of accountancy, students develop critical thinking, leadership and effective communication skills.
