Joyce Shen is a recognized executive and thought leader in business, innovation, and technology with deep operating and investing experience. She is also a published author, frequent speaker, and advisor on emerging technologies, new product innovation, and corporate strategy. Her most recent book is From Talking to Doing: A Short Guide to Corporate Innovation Success.
Joyce is currently the investment director and operating partner at Tenfore Holdings where she leads enterprise software, big data, and fintech investments. Outside Tenfore, Joyce is an adjunct faculty of data science at UC Berkeley where she teaches application of machine learning and AI in product development and innovation.
Previously, Joyce was the global managing director of emerging technologies and venture investments in the CTO office at Thomson Reuters where she built and led global emerging technology group and the corporate venture fund. During her tenure, she led new technology strategy and product innovations in fintech, IoT, and emerging data solutions, established the global blockchain program, and made eleven early-stage strategic investments in big data and AI, digital identity, blockchain, and alternative data.
Prior to Thomson Reuters, Joyce was the founding global CFO of IBM Cloud Platform and managed $1B P&L. She also spent several years in IBM Corporate Development leading acquisitions and divestitures exceeding $6B in total transaction value.
Joyce received her undergraduate and masters degrees from the University of Chicago.

Lawrence "Martin" Capuder is managing director of ConsultantC.Services, specializing in secure cloud and certification preparatory workshops, solutions consulting, implementation project management and other custom training. Mr. Capuder is a technical subject matter expert for the Association of International CPAs (AICPA). He has spoken at conferences and professional meetings on four continents and has published over three dozen professional journal articles. Martin currently serves on the local boards of CSA, Keiser University Accounting and Business Advisory Board and the Private Directors Association, as well as being an active member of the CSA’s Cloud Control Matrix Working Group.
Overall, he has over 25 years’ experience in IT audit, security & controls consulting and Federal banking examinations; this includes a decade of overseas projects and another as an expatriate employee for the world’s largest company. His professional designations include the CISA, CIA, AWS-CCP, CCSK, CFE, CAMS, CPA, CSCP.
Vadas Gintautas completed a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Illinois, specializing in complex systems and non-linear dynamics. His postdoctoral work was at Los Alamos National Laboratory, working on biologically inspired neural network models using Roadrunner, which was the most powerful supercomputer in the world at the time. After working as a physics faculty member at Chatham University for 4 years, he switched to a career in industry, at BAE Systems FAST Labs as a research scientist. He currently leads the Emerging Machine Learning Analytics section, working on topics that span information theory, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
